CiNNAMED GmbH is a Spin-Off of the FAU at the medical technology cluster “Medical Valley EMN” as a result of the official international MedTech campaign of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) within the program “Germany – Partner for Medical Technology”. It was founded in 2013 by the responsible campaign coordinators of the Erlangen consortium at the Central Institute of Healthcare Engineering (ZiMT) to continue the worldwide activities after the end of the campaign in the year 2014 and take advantage of the huge network that has been built up over the years.
Today, CiNNAMED is mostly active in Brazil with a goal to help European companies to register their medical devices through ANVISA, export their products to Brazil and establish local collaborations for research and development.. Clients are the federal government of Brazil, universities, SME, established companies, hospitals and scientific institutions. CiNNAMED has also been chosen by two European Clusters to be the official representative partner in all partnerships with Brazil. We represent the Medical Valley EMN based in Erlangen, Germany and the bioXclusters group with their internationalization efforts and support small an medium companies to enter the Brazilian market.
